The 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. is when the workday is usually done and the evening is when we can relax and unwind. We can do this, but when the evening comes, our brain turns on the all-powerful, all-knowing, all-powerful brain, and we find ourselves with no time to do anything else but sit at home and watch TV.
I’ve always thought it was a little weird that I get to watch TV while writing. And I’ve been writing for a lot of years. Yet I don’t have to write a lot when the afternoon and evening are so much more productive.
It gets better. In The Way of the Ninja, I watch the Ninja Turtles do their best while I write, because it’s the only time that I get to sit down and do nothing. When my girlfriend comes over and I ask her how long it takes her to do her laundry, she tells me that it takes her about an hour. She has only gotten this far with me because I let her into my house.
This is an interesting question. If you have a kid or someone who is always working on something, how long does it take you to get something done? Does it just go by in a blur? Or are you able to sit down and write all day? I have a friend, who is always doing something, but I don’t think he sits down to write, and he’s always asking me how it went.
I don’t think there’s a hard and fast rule for how long you should sit down and write. Instead, I think it depends on how much you want to put into it. If you’re just doing it for the sake of it, or to justify your life and your life goals, then I would say about an hour per day.
I have to admit, I have no real idea how long I should be writing at work or at home. There are a lot of factors involved, and it’s easy to get caught up in all of them. For me, I work at a place that has a pretty strict work hour, from 8:30 to 5, but I usually only get home around 6:30. I’m generally tired, but I don’t mind that.
How about 9:30am? Or 10:30am? Or 11am? Or 2pm? Then 9:30pm? I would be more inclined to go for at least an hour.
I used to have the same thought process when I was working at a place that doesn’t allow breaks. Now, I know that it’s important to be at work. At work I have my own little area to work in. At home I work in my bedroom. The work hours are 9 to 5, and we know where the breaks are.
It’s important to recognize the fact that 9am is a very different time for everyone and that there is always a lot of variation within a person’s schedule.
It’s a very important point because it reveals that everyone is at their own pace and that we must adjust our own schedules to match that. This is especially important in the tech industry where you have to be able to adapt to changes in the work day. In this example, 9am is a time when the workplace is often calm and quiet. It’s also a time when you know you’ll get more sleep. This is because 9am is when we’re all focused on getting our work done.
