One of the biggest benefits of being self-aware is being able to recognize when something is not quite right. While you have the ability to make yourself self aware that is not necessarily good, it is always better to be proactive. And in this case, the proactive part of that statement is when you realize that you have no idea what you’re doing.
This is a very important lesson, because when you’re self-aware it is very easy to fall into a kind of autopilot state. That is, you think, I have all the time in the world to play video games, I am an expert on video games, I know that I am an expert on video games… and there is no one watching.
This is a state that is very common. When you are self-aware, you don’t have to let your thoughts be the boss of your actions because you know that you are not the boss of the thoughts that you are having. You can be proactive and think, this is just stupid. I’m just going to do this with my thoughts.
This is the basic problem with autopilot, it will control you and prevent you from thinking and acting. You can be proactive and think, I am just going to do this with my thoughts and actions, this is just stupid. But if you are not proactive, then you have no way of stopping your thoughts from taking over.
On the other hand, if you have a lot of thoughts that you can’t even stop, then you haven’t the option of stopping.
I really don’t see how the whole framework works this way, but this should be a good place to start. If you have a lot of thoughts that you cant stop and you need to be more proactive, then you have no choice but to let go of it and take your own time. We all have our own ideas of what actions we should avoid, but to make things a bit more serious, the actions we take are not always 100% the actions that are best for us or our goals. We all have our own self-awareness, so we tend to over-generalize. If we are over thinking, that means we are already lost. If we are not yet losing, that means we are already lost.
We all know that we should avoid things that make us unhappy, but the good news is that the things that make us unhappy don’t always have to be the things that make us unhappy. It’s important to recognize when we’re not losing, but then continue on anyway. But if it is your goal to lose, you should take a step back and take a deep look at your life.
